Muaz bin Jabal reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No human being has ever performed any deed more effective in saving him from Allah's punishment than the remembrance of Allah."Muaz also reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you about the best of your deeds, the purest of them in the sight of your Sovereign, the loftiest of them in raising your ranks, and better for you than spending gold and silver, and better than meeting your enemy on the battlefield where you strike their necks and they strike yours?"They said, "Of course, Messenger of Allah."He said, "The remembrance of Allah ."

حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبي حدثنا حجين بن المثنى حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني ابن أبي سلمة عن زياد بن أبي زياد مولى عبد الله بن عياش بن أبي ربيعة أنه بلغه

عن معاذ بن جبل أنه قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ما عمل آدمي عملا قط أنجى له من عذاب الله من ذكر الله و قال معاذ قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبركم بخير أعمالكم وأزكاها عند مليككم وأرفعها في درجاتكم وخير لكم من تعاطي الذهب والفضة ومن أن تلقوا عدوكم غدا فتضربوا أعناقهم ويضربوا أعناقكم قالوا بلى يا رسول الله قال ذكر الله عز وجل
