Abu Bashir al-Ansari, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saw me performing the Duha prayer just as the sun was rising. He criticized me for that and forbade me from doing so, then said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Do not pray until the sun has risen high, for it rises between the two horns of Satan.'"
حدثنا هارون بن معروف قال عبد الله وسمعته أنا من هارون قال حدثنا عبد الله أخبرني مخرمة عن أبيه
رآني أبو بشير الأنصاري صاحب رسول الله ﷺ وأنا أصلي صلاة الضحى حين طلعت الشمس فعاب علي ذلك ونهاني ثم قال إن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تصلوا حتى ترتفع الشمس فإنها تطلع بين قرني الشيطان
