The Prophet ﷺ had him ride behind him from Arafat. When they reached the mountain pass, the Prophet ﷺ dismounted and relieved himself. The narrator said, "He did not say that he poured out water." I poured water for him and he performed a light ablution. I said, "The prayer."He replied, "The prayer is ahead of you."Then he came to Muzdalifa and prayed Maghrib. Then they untied their saddles and helped him with his mount, and then he prayed Isha.
حدثنا سفيان عن إبراهيم بن عقبة عن كريب عن ابن عباس قال أخبرني
أن النبي ﷺ أردفه من عرفة فلما أتى الشعب نزل فبال ولم يقل أهراق الماء فصببت عليه فتوضأ وضوءا خفيفا فقلت الصلاة فقال الصلاة أمامك قال ثم أتى المزدلفة فصلى المغرب ثم حلوا رحالهم وأعنته ثم صلى العشاء
