Abu Dharr reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every morning, charity is due upon every joint of the son of Adam." Then he said, "Your removing harm from the road is charity, your greeting people is charity, your enjoining good is charity, your forbidding evil is charity, and your intimacy with your wife is charity."We said, "Messenger of Allah, does a man fulfill his desire and have it counted as charity for him?"He replied, "Yes. Tell me, if he were to place that desire in what Allah has forbidden him, would he not bear a sin for it?"We said, "Of course."He said, "So when he places it in what Allah has made lawful, it is charity for him."He mentioned other things, each one charity, charity. Then he said, "Two units of prayer in the forenoon suffice for all of this."

عن أبي ذر

عن النبي ﷺ قال يصبح كل يوم على كل سلامى من ابن آدم صدقة ثم قال إماطتك الأذى عن الطريق صدقة وتسليمك على الناس صدقة وأمرك بالمعروف صدقة ونهيك عن المنكر صدقة ومباضعتك أهلك صدقة قال قلنا يا رسول الله أيقضي الرجل شهوته وتكون له صدقة قال نعم أرأيت لو جعل تلك الشهوة فيما حرم الله عليه ألم يكن عليه وزر قلنا بلى قال فإنه إذا جعلها فيما أحل الله عز وجل فهي صدقة قال وذكر أشياء صدقة صدقة قال ثم قال ويجزئ من هذا كله ركعتا الضحى
