Abu Dharr reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "You are living in a time when scholars are many and preachers are few. Whoever in this time abandons even a tenth of what he knows has gone astray," or he said, "has perished. A time will come upon people when scholars will be few and preachers many. Whoever in that time holds fast to even a tenth of what he knows will be saved."
