While the Prophet ﷺ was delivering a sermon, an Arabi of rough manner stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, hunger has consumed us."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Something other than that is what I fear more for you, the time when this world will be poured upon you in abundance. How I wish my nation would not adorn themselves with gold."

بينما النبي ﷺ يخطب إذ قام إليه أعرابي فيه جفاء فقال يا رسول الله أكلنا الضبع فقال النبي ﷺ غير ذلك أخوف لي عليكم حين تصب عليكم الدنيا صبا فيا ليت أمتي لا يتحلون الذهب
