Abu Dharr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Abu Dharr, which mountain is this?"I replied, "Uhud, Messenger of Allah."He said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, it would not please me to have it as gold which I would spend in the cause of Allah and leave behind a single qirat of it."I said, "A qintar, Messenger of Allah?"He said, "A qirat." He repeated it three times, then said, "Abu Dharr, I am naming the smaller amount, not the larger."

حدثنا محمد بن فضيل حدثنا سالم يعني ابن أبي حفصة عن سالم بن أبي الجعد

عن أبي ذر قال

قال لي رسول الله ﷺ يا أبا ذر أي جبل هذا قلت أحد يا رسول الله قال والذي نفسي بيده ما يسرني أنه لي ذهبا قطعا أنفقه في سبيل الله أدع منه قيراطا قال قلت قنطارا يا رسول الله قال قيراطا قالها ثلاث مرات ثم قال يا أبا ذر إنما أقول الذي هو أقل ولا أقول الذي هو أكثر
