Ubayy bin Kaab and I were standing in the shade of Hassan's fortress when Ubayy said to me, "Do you not see people stretching their necks in pursuit of worldly gain?"I said, "Yes."He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The Furat is about to uncover a mountain of gold. When people hear of it, they will rush toward it. Those present will say, By Allah, if we let people take from it, it will all be carried away. So they will fight one another until ninety-nine out of every hundred are killed.'"This is the wording of Ubayy's hadith from Affan.

وقفت أنا وأبي بن كعب في ظل أجم حسان فقال لي أبي ألا ترى الناس مختلفة أعناقهم في طلب الدنيا قال قلت بلى قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يوشك الفرات أن يحسر عن جبل من ذهب فإذا سمع به الناس ساروا إليه فيقول من عنده والله لئن تركنا الناس يأخذون فيه ليذهبن فيقتتل الناس حتى يقتل من كل مائة تسعة وتسعون وهذا لفظ حديث أبي عن عفان
