Ubayy bin Kaab reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has commanded me to recite the Quran to you."He then recited, "Those who disbelieved from among the People of the Book..." [Bayyinah 98:1].Within it he recited, "If the son of Adam were given a valley full of wealth, he would ask for a second, and if given that, he would ask for a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns in mercy to whoever turns to Him in repentance. Indeed, the upright religion in the sight of Allah is the pure monotheism, not that of the polytheists, nor the Jews, nor the Christians. Whoever does good will not have it denied to him."

عن أبي بن كعب قال

إن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الله تبارك وتعالى أمرني أن أقرأ عليك القرآن قال فقرأ لم يكن الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب قال فقرأ فيها ولو أن ابن آدم سأل واديا من مال فأعطيه لسأل ثانيا فأعطيه لسأل ثالثا ولا يملأ جوف ابن آدم إلا التراب ويتوب الله على من تاب وإن ذلك الدين القيم عند الله الحنيفية غير المشركة ولا اليهودية ولا النصرانية ومن يفعل خيرا فلن يكفره
