The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever follows a funeral procession until the prayer is performed over the deceased and the burial is completed will receive two qirats of reward. Whoever follows it until the prayer is performed will receive one qirat. By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, that is heavier in his scale than Mount Uhud."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا حجاج بن أرطاة عن عدي بن ثابت
عن النبي ﷺ قال من تبع جنازة حتى يصلى عليها ويفرغ منها فله قيراطان ومن تبعها حتى يصلى عليها فله قيراط والذي نفس محمد بيده لهو أثقل في ميزانه من أحد
