Abdullah bin Abbas reported,
Ubayy said to Umar, "Commander of the Faithful, I received the Quran from the one who received it," and in Affan's version, "from the one who was receiving it from Jibreel 
while it was still fresh."

Its isnad is sahih. Najih is Ibn Abdul-Rahman Anazi, and he is one of the trustworthy Successors. Ibn Ahmad alone transmitted this report.
