Ubayy bin Kaab reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah عز وجل did not reveal in the Torah or the Gospel anything like the Mother of the Quran. It is the seven oft-repeated verses, divided between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he asks for."

عن أبي بن كعب رضي الله تعالى عنهما قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أنزل الله عز وجل في التوراة ولا في الإنجيل مثل أم القرآن وهي السبع المثاني وهي مقسومة بيني وبين عبدي ولعبدي ما سأل

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar's hadith is deemed reliable by Muslim and others, and Ala bin Abdul-Rahman and his father are both trustworthy. We have already established that Ala's hadith is sahih when it is corroborated. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi (5/297, no. 3125) in the tafsir of Surah Hijr, where he indicated its soundness, and by Nasai (2/139) in the virtues of the Opening of the Book. This hadith is among the additional narrations.
