Amr bin Yathrabi reported,

I witnessed the sermon of the Prophet ﷺ at Mina. Among the things he said in his sermon was, "It is not lawful for a man to take any of his brother's property except what he willingly gives."When I heard this, I said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I come across my cousin's flock of sheep and take a sheep from it and slaughter it for myself? Would there be anything against me in that?"He replied, "If you find it as a ewe carrying a knife and a fire-starter, then do not touch it."This is the end of the Musnad of the Basrans.

حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا عبد الملك بن الحسن يعني الجاري حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي سعيد قال سمعت عمارة بن حارثة يحدث

عن عمرو بن يثربي الضمري قال

شهدت خطبة النبي ﷺ بمنى فكان فيما خطب به أن قال ولا يحل لامرئ من مال أخيه إلا ما طابت به نفسه قال فلما سمعت ذلك قلت يا رسول الله أرأيت لو لقيت غنم ابن عمي فأخذت منها شاة فاجتزرتها علي في ذلك شيء قال إن لقيتها نعجة تحمل شفرة وأزنادا فلا تمسها هذا آخر مسند البصريين رضي الله عنهم
