The Prophet ﷺ was brought a piece of cheese, and his companions began striking it with sticks. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Use the knife, mention the name of Allah, and eat."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا إسرائيل عن جابر عن عكرمة
أن النبي ﷺ أتي بجبنة قال فجعل أصحابه يضربونها بالعصي فقال رسول الله ﷺ ضعوا السكين واذكروا اسم الله وكلوا
Its isnad is daif, due to the weakness of Jabir Jafi. The hadith is found in Majma al-Zawaid 5:42–43, where it is also attributed to Bazzar and Tabarani, and its defect is identified as being Jafi. It will come at length at 255.
