Abu Tamima reported,

A man who was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, or someone reporting from a man who was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, narrated that the Prophet ﷺ was on a donkey when it stumbled. The man riding behind him said, "May Satan perish!"The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not say, 'May Satan perish,' for when you say that, he swells with pride and says, 'By my power I knocked him down!' But when you say, 'In the name of Allah,' he shrinks until he becomes as small as a fly."

عن ردف النبي ﷺ أو عن رجل عن ردف النبي ﷺ أنه كان على حمار فعثر فقال الذي خلفه تعس الشيطان فقال لا تقل تعس الشيطان فإنك إذا قلت تعس الشيطان تعاظم وقال بعزتي صرعتك وإذا قلت بسم الله تصاغر حتى يصير مثل ذباب
