A man reported,

I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was among a crowd of people, and I heard him say, "A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him nor abandon him. Piety is here."Hammad said, He gestured with his hand toward his chest."No two people love one another for the sake of Allah and are then separated except by some new offense one of them commits. The one who introduces the offense is evil. The one who introduces the offense is evil. The one who introduces the offense is evil."

رجل من بني سليط قال

أتيت النبي ﷺ وهو في أزفلة من الناس فسمعته يقول المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يخذله التقوى هاهنا قال حماد وقال بيده إلى صدره وما تواد اثنان في الله عز وجل لا يفرق بينهما إلا حدث يحدثه أحدهما والمحدث شر والمحدث شر والمحدث شر
