Whenever our father heard any of us say "Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem," he would say, "Stop it, stop it. I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar, and I never heard any of them say 'Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem.'"
