He used to come to us at our place of prayer. When the prayer was called to begin, he was told, "Step forward and lead the prayer."He said, "Let one of you lead the prayer, and I will tell you why I am not leading you."When the people had finished praying, he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you visits a people, he should not lead them in prayer. Rather, a man from among them should lead the prayer."
