The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands level with the tops of his ears when bowing and prostrating.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة عن نصر بن عاصم
أن النبي ﷺ كان يرفع يديه حيال فروع أذنيه في الركوع والسجود
Its chain of transmission is sahih.
