I found this hadith in my father's book in his own handwriting. Ubaydullah bin Muhammad narrated to us, Hammad bin Salama informed us, Ali bin Zayd informed us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakra, from Abu Bakra, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you think that if Aslam and Ghifar are better than the two allies, Asad and Ghatafan, those two have lost out?"They said, "Yes."He said, "And do you think that if Mazina and Juhayna are better than Banu Tamim and Amir bin Sasaa," and Hammad raised his voice here, imitating the Prophet ﷺ, "those have lost out?"They said, "Yes."He said, "They are indeed better than them."

وجدت هذا الحديث في كتاب أبي بخط يده حدثنا عبيد الله بن محمد أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا علي بن زيد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكرة عن أبي بكرة أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أرأيتم إن كانت أسلم وغفار خيرا من الحليفين أسد وغطفان أترونهم خسروا قالوا نعم قال أفرأيتم إن كانت مزينة وجهينة خيرا من بني تميم وعامر بن صعصعة ورفع حماد بها صوته يحكي النبي ﷺ أترونهم خسروا قالوا نعم قال فإنهم خير منهم
