The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon a group of people passing around an unsheathed sword. He said, "May Allah curse whoever does this. Have I not forbidden this?" Then he said, "When one of you draws his sword to look at it and wishes to hand it to his brother, let him sheathe it first, then pass it to him."
حدثنا أبو النضر وعفان قالا حدثنا المبارك عن الحسن عن أبي بكرة قال عفان في حديثه حدثنا المبارك قال سمعت الحسن يقول أخبرني
أتى رسول الله ﷺ على قوم يتعاطون سيفا مسلولا فقال لعن الله من فعل هذا أوليس قد نهيت عن هذا ثم قال إذا سل أحدكم سيفه فنظر إليه فأراد أن يناوله أخاه فليغمده ثم يناوله إياه
