Rain fell on people one Friday, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered an announcement to be made that today's prayer, or today's Friday prayer, was to be performed in their dwellings.

Its isnad is daif. Abu Bishr Halabi is unknown, as they have said, and they differed regarding his name. Some said he was Abdullah bin Bishr, and others said he was Walid bin Muhammad Balqawi. The hadith itself is sahih, having previously appeared at 20136.
