Abu Ala bin Shikhir reported,

One of the men of Banu Sulaym, and I believe he had seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah tests His servant through what He has given him. Whoever is content with what Allah has apportioned for him, Allah will bless him in it and grant him abundance, and whoever is not content will receive no blessing in it."

حدثني أحد بني سليم ولا أحسبه إلا قد رأى رسول الله ﷺ أن الله تبارك وتعالى يبتلي عبده بما أعطاه فمن رضي بما قسم الله عز وجل له بارك الله له فيه ووسعه ومن لم يرض لم يبارك له
