A man from the tribe of Bani Salit narrated to me that he passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was sitting at the door of the mosque, wearing a Qatari garment with nothing else on, wrapped around him as he sat with his knees drawn up. He was saying, "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor does he forsake him. Piety is here," pointing with his hand to his chest.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا عباد بن راشد قال سمعت
حدثني رجل من بني سليط أنه مر على رسول الله ﷺ وهو جالس على باب المسجد وعليه ثوب قطري ليس عليه غيره محتب به وهو يقول المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يخذله التقوى هاهنا ويشير بيده إلى صدره
