Muawiya bin Hayda Qushayri reported,

He reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "No kinsman comes to a kinsman of his, asking him for something he has in excess of his need, and is refused, without Allah Most High setting a serpent upon him that will tear at him before the Judgment."Affan explained that by "kinsman" he meant his cousin.

وقال ما من مولى يأتي مولى له فيسأله من فضل عنده فيمنعه إلا جعله الله تعالى عليه شجاعا ينهسه قبل القضاء قال عفان يعني بالمولى ابن عمه
