We set out as a group of more than ten men from the tribe of Banu Thalaba when we came across Abu Musa, who was narrating from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "Allah, let the death of my nation come through the plague," and he mentioned the rest of it.
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Bakr Nahshali, whose name is disputed, is reliable, and his hadith appears in Muslim. Usama bin Sharik Thalabi is a companion. The hadith is like the one before it. See its cross-references. Also see 15545 and 17998.
