We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey when we descended into a low valley. The people began to raise their voices with takbir, so he said, "People, go easy on yourselves. You are not calling upon someone deaf or absent. You are calling upon One who hears and is near."Then he called me, and I was close to him, and said, "Abdullah bin Qays, shall I direct you to a phrase that is among the treasures of Paradise?"I said, "Certainly."He said, "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah."
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are well known, and the hadith has already appeared at 19488 and 19412. His saying, "so we descended into a hollow of the earth," means that it was decreed for us to camp in a low-lying place.
