Shuba said, "I used to remember his name." He said, We were at the door of Uthman, waiting for permission to enter, when I heard Abu Musa al-Ashari say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The destruction of my nation will come through stabbing and plague.'"We asked, "Messenger of Allah, this stabbing we know, but what is the plague?"He replied, "A piercing from your enemies among the jinn, and in each there is martyrdom."Ziyad said, I was not satisfied with what he said, so I asked the chief of the tribe, who was with them, and he said, "He has spoken the truth. Abu Musa narrated it to us."
Its chain of transmission is daif here due to the anonymity of the man narrating from Abu Musa, though this man is a companion, as is made clear after this. The hadith is sahih through other routes, as we explained at 19420. See also what follows.
