Abu Musa Ashari reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, place Ubayd Abu Amir above most people on the Day of Resurrection."Ubayd was killed on the day of Awtas, and Abu Musa killed the man who had killed Ubayd.Abu Waail said, "I truly hope that Allah will not gather the killer of Ubayd together with Abu Musa in the Fire."

حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن مؤمل قال ثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة حدثنا عاصم عن أبي وائل

عن أبي موسى قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ اللهم اجعل عبيدا أبا عامر فوق أكثر الناس يوم القيامة قال فقتل عبيد يوم أوطاس وقتل أبو موسى قاتل عبيد قال قال أبو وائل وإني لأرجو أن لا يجمع الله عز وجل بين قاتل عبيد وبين أبي موسى في النار
