A house in Madinah burned down with its occupants inside, and when the Prophet ﷺ was told what had happened to them, he said, "This fire is nothing but an enemy to you. So when you go to sleep, put it out."
وقال احترق بيت بالمدينة على أهله فحدث النبي ﷺ بشأنهم فقال إنما هذه النار عدو لكم فإذا نمتم فأطفئوها عنكم
