The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you send your dog after game and mention the name of Allah, but it mingles with other dogs and they catch the prey together, do not eat it, for you do not know which of them caught it. When you shoot game and mention the name of Allah and the arrow pierces it, then eat it. But if it does not pierce, do not eat. Do not eat from what is struck by the broad side of an arrow unless you slaughter it properly, and do not eat from what is struck by a pellet unless you slaughter it properly."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أرسلت كلبك وسميت فخالط كلابا أخرى فأخذته جميعا فلا تأكل فإنك لا تدري أيهما أخذه وإذا رميت فسميت فخزقت فكل فإن لم يتخزق فلا تأكل ولا تأكل من المعراض إلا ما ذكيت ولا تأكل من البندقة إلا ما ذكيت
