Abu Bakr bin Anas reported,

Zayd bin Arqam wrote to Anas bin Malik offering condolences for his sons and kinsmen who were killed on the day of al-Harrah. Anas wrote back to him, "I bring you glad tidings from Allah . I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the sons of the Ansar, the sons of the sons of the Ansar, the women of the Ansar, the women of the sons of the Ansar, and the women of the sons of the sons of the Ansar.'"

حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد

عن أبي بكر بن أنس قال

كتب زيد بن أرقم إلى أنس بن مالك يعزيه بمن أصيب من ولده وقومه يوم الحرة فكتب إليه وأبشرك ببشرى من الله عز وجل سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول اللهم اغفر للأنصار ولأبناء الأنصار ولأبناء أبناء الأنصار ولنساء الأنصار ولنساء أبناء الأنصار ولنساء أبناء أبناء الأنصار
