He said to her, "You were named Umm Muiminin only so that you would be blessed with happiness, and indeed it was your name even before you were born."
حدثنا سفيان عن ليث عن رجل
أنه قال لها إنما سميت أم المؤمنين لتسعدي وإنه لاسمك قبل أن تولدي
Its isnad is daif, due to the unknown identity of the narrator from Ibn Abbas. It follows in meaning the one before it. It was mentioned in Majma al-Zawaid 9:244, where he faulted it for the unknown identity of its narrator. See also 2497.
