The Prophet ﷺ forbade breathing into a vessel or blowing into it.
حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الكريم عن عكرمة
إن شاء الله أن النبي ﷺ نهى أن يتنفس في الإناء أو ينفخ فيه
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Kareem is Ibn Malik Jazari. It was also narrated by Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, who graded it sahih, and Ibn Majah, as in Muntaqa 4777.
