I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a son of mine.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Is this your son?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "He shall not bear the consequence of your crimes, nor shall you bear the consequence of his."Hushaym said on one occasion, from Yunus, who said, "Someone informed me from Husayn bin Abu Hurr."
حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا يونس بن عبيد عن حصين بن أبي الحر
أتيت النبي ﷺ ومعي ابن لي قال فقال ابنك هذا قال قلت نعم قال لا يجني عليك ولا تجني عليه قال هشيم مرة يونس قال أخبرني مخبر عن حصين بن أبي الحر
Its isnad is sahih. Husayn bin Abu Hurr is Husayn bin Malik bin Khashkhash, Abul-Firuz, a trustworthy narrator among the senior trustworthy successors, and the hadith has been mentioned many times before. See 16009 and 17423.
