I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever frees a Muslim Raqaba, it will be his ransom from the Fire." Affan added in his version, "for every bone of the freed slave there will be a bone of his own.""Whoever lives to see one of his parents reach old age and then is not forgiven, may Allah cast him far away. And whoever takes in an orphan from two Muslim parents," Affan added, "providing him with food and drink until Allah makes him independent, Paradise becomes guaranteed for him."
حدثنا بهز وعفان قالا ثنا حماد بن سلمة قال عفان في حديثه أخبرنا علي بن زيد عن زرارة بن أوفى
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من أعتق رقبة مسلمة فهي فداؤه من النار قال عفان مكان كل عظم من عظام محرره بعظم من عظامه ومن أدرك أحد والديه ثم لم يغفر له فأبعده الله ومن ضم يتيما من بين أبوين مسلمين قال عفان إلى طعامه وشرابه حتى يغنيه الله وجبت له الجنة
