One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head from the bowing and said, "Allah hears whoever praises Him," a man behind him said, "Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, abundant, good, and blessed praise."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he asked, "Who was the one who spoke just now?"The man replied, "It was I, Messenger of Allah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw thirty-odd angels rushing to be the first to record it."
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن بن مهدي: مالك عن نعيم بن عبد الله المجمر عن علي بن يحيى الزرقي عن أبيه
كنا نصلي يوما وراء رسول الله ﷺ فلما رفع رسول الله ﷺ رأسه من الركعة وقال سمع الله لمن حمده قال رجل وراءه ربنا لك الحمد حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه فلما انصرف رسول الله ﷺ قال من المتكلم آنفا قال الرجل أنا يا رسول الله فقال رسول الله ﷺ لقد رأيت بضعة وثلاثين ملكا يبتدرونها أيهم يكتبها أولا
