Abdullah bin Abu Habiba was asked, "What did you witness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" since the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had arrived in Madinah when Abdullah was still a young boy.He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us one day at our mosque, meaning the mosque of Quba. We came and sat with him, and the people sat with him as well. He remained seated for as long as Allah willed, then he stood up to pray, and I saw him praying in his sandals."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد وكتب به إلي قتيبة حدثنا مجمع بن يعقوب
قيل لعبد الله بن أبي حبيبة ما أدركت من رسول الله ﷺ وقد كان رسول الله ﷺ قدم وهو غلام حديث قال جاءنا رسول الله ﷺ يوما إلى مسجدنا يعني مسجد قباء قال فجئنا فجلسنا إليه وجلس إليه الناس قال فجلس ما شاء الله أن يجلس ثم قام يصلي فرأيته يصلي في نعليه
