A woman said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "It seems your companion has been slow to come to you."Then this verse was revealed, "Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He grown displeased" [Duha 93:3].
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر أخبرنا شعبة عن الأسود بن قيس أنه سمع
قالت امرأة لرسول الله ﷺ ما أرى صاحبك إلا قد أبطأ عليك قال فنزلت هذه الآية {ما ودعك ربك وما قلى}
Its isnad is sahih. Aswad bin Qays Abdi is among the trustworthy successors, and his hadith appears in the collections of the group. Bukhari related the hadith in 3/8, no. 1125, Fath, in the chapter on Friday, Muslim in 3/1422, no. 1797, in jihad, and Tirmidhi in 5/442, no. 3345, and he said, hasan sahih.
