Numan bin Bashir reported,
I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Allah 
and His angels send blessings upon the first row," or "the first rows."

Its isnad is sahih. Husayn bin Waqid Marwazi, the judge, is trustworthy despite having some lapses. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud 1/178, no. 664, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the merit of one who connects the rows, and Nasai 2/13, no. 646, and Ibn Majah 1/319, no. 999, and Darimi 1/353, no. 1264, and Ibn Hibban 113, no. 386, Mawarid.
