Mughira reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to relieve himself, then he came back and I poured water for him. He washed his face, then went to wash his forearms, but the sleeves of his cloak were too narrow for them, so he pulled his arms out from beneath the cloak and washed them. Then he wiped over his leather socks.

حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني ابن أبي سلمة حدثنا سعد بن إبراهيم عن نافع بن جبير عن عروة بن المغيرة بن شعبة

عن أبيه المغيرة قال

ذهب رسول الله ﷺ لبعض حاجته ثم جاء فسكبت عليه الماء فغسل وجهه ثم ذهب يغسل ذراعيه فضاق عنهما كم الجبة فأخرجهما من تحت الجبة فغسلهما ثم مسح على خفيه
