The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day Ibrahim died. The people said, "It has been eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah. They are not eclipsed for the death of anyone nor for his life. So when you see that, call upon Allah and pray until it clears."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا زائدة عن زياد بن علاقة قال سمعت
انكسفت الشمس على عهد رسول الله ﷺ يوم مات إبراهيم فقال الناس انكسفت لموت إبراهيم فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الشمس والقمر آيتان من آيات الله لا ينكسفان لموت أحد ولا لحياته فإذا رأيتموه فادعوا الله وصلوا حتى تنكشف
