Muawiya wrote to Mughira bin Shuba asking him to write back with something he had heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So he wrote to him, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Allah disapproves for you idle gossip, the squandering of wealth, and excessive questioning.'"
