He consulted them about a woman who miscarried after being struck.Mughira said to him, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled in such a case that a slave should be given as compensation."Umar said to him, "If you are truthful, bring someone who knows of this."So Muhammad bin Maslama testified that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had indeed given that ruling.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج حدثني هشام عن عروة بن الزبير أنه حدث عن ابن المغيرة بن شعبة
أنه استشارهم في إملاص المرأة فقال له المغيرة قضى فيه رسول الله ﷺ بالغرة فقال له عمر إن كنت صادقا فأت بأحد يعلم ذلك فشهد محمد بن مسلمة أن رسول الله ﷺ قضى به
