The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will always remain a group from my nation who are victorious over the people until the command of Allah comes while they are still prevailing."
حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد أبو يوسف حدثنا إسماعيل عن قيس
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يزال من أمتي قوم ظاهرين على الناس حتى يأتيهم أمر الله وهم ظاهرون
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators being well-known reliable men. Ismail is Ibn Abu Khalid, and Qays is Ibn Abu Hazim. The hadith has already appeared within hadith 16852 and 16792. It is also found in Bukhari as we noted, 13/293, number 7311 of Fath, and with its wording in Muslim in the book of Faith, 247, and in the book of Tribulations, 174, 170, and in Abu Dawud, 4242, at the beginning of the book of Tribulations, and in Tirmidhi, also in the book of Tribulations, 2229, and with its wording also in Darimi, 2/213, Halabi edition, and Ibn Hibban, 1853 of his Mawarid, and Hakim, 4/449, with Dhahabi agreeing with him.
