The Prophet ﷺ stopped by him at Hudaybiyah while lice were falling from his head. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Are these vermin troubling you?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then shave your head."He said, regarding me was revealed, "Whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head must compensate by fasting, charity, or sacrifice" [Baqarah 2:196].He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ then instructed me, saying, "Fast three days, or give a faraq of food in charity divided among six poor people, or offer whatever sacrifice you can afford."
حدثنا يحيى عن سيف قال سمعت مجاهدا يقول حدثني ابن أبي ليلى قال حدثني
أن النبي ﷺ وقف عليه بالحديبية قال ورأسه يتهافت قملا قال أيؤذيك هوامك قال قلت نعم قال فاحلق رأسك قال في نزلت {فمن كان منكم مريضا أو به أذى من رأسه ففدية من صيام أو صدقة أو نسك} قال فأمرني رسول الله ﷺ فقال صم ثلاثة أيام أو تصدق بفرق بين ستة أو بنسك ما تيسر
