The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us at Mina while he was on his mount, and I was beneath the base of his camel's neck as she chewed her cud, her saliva running down between my shoulders. He said, "Allah has apportioned to every person his share of the inheritance, so no bequest in favor of an heir is valid. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and the adulterer gets nothing. Whoever claims a father other than his own, or attaches himself to patrons other than his own out of aversion to them, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."Saeed said, Matar also narrated to us, from Shahr bin Hawshab, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanem, from Amr bin Kharija, from the Prophet ﷺ, the same report. Matar added in the hadith, "And no ransom or substitute will be accepted from him."He said that Matar said, "No ransom or substitute will be accepted from him," or "no substitute or ransom."This is the end of the Musnad of the Syrians.
