The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me in command of the army of Dhat as-Salasil. I came to him and asked, "Messenger of Allah, who is the most beloved person to you?"He replied, "Ayesha."I asked, "And among the men?"He said, "Her father, of course."I asked, "Then who?"He said, "Umar."Then he listed Some men.
حدثنا يحيى بن حماد قال أخبرنا عبد العزيز بن المختار عن خالد الحذاء عن أبي عثمان قال حدثني
بعثني رسول الله ﷺ على جيش ذات السلاسل قال فأتيته قال قلت يا رسول الله أي الناس أحب إليك قال عائشة قال قلت فمن الرجال قال أبوها إذا قال قلت ثم من قال عمر قال فعد رجالا
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Aziz bin Mukhtar is a well-known trustworthy narrator whose hadith is accepted by the whole community. The hadith was reported by Bukhari, 5/6 (Shaab edition), in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions, chapter on the virtues of Ayesha, and by Muslim, 4/1856, no. 2384, in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions, in the section on the virtues of Abu Bakr.
