He was addressing the people in Egypt, saying, "How far your guidance is from the guidance of your Prophet ﷺ. As for him, he was the most detached of people from this world, while you are the most eager of people for it."

يخطب الناس بمصر يقول ما أبعد هديكم من هدي نبيكم ﷺ أما هو فكان أزهد الناس في الدنيا وأما أنتم فأرغب الناس فيها
