My father's name in the days of ignorance was Aziz, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Abdul-Rahman.

كان اسم أبي في الجاهلية عزيزا فسماه رسول الله ﷺ عبد الرحمن
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are well-known and trustworthy, and Khaythama bin Abdul-Rahman is a well-known trustworthy narrator whose hadith appears in the collections of the whole group. Haythami graded the hadith sahih in 8/49, saying, "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
